D. William Moore Hand Drums I have Been Teaching Djembe Hand Drumming since 1998. My Drumming has had many inspirations. I started with a background in Traditional African Style, playing with EARTH BEAT Drum & Dance Troupe. I am the co-founder of the Drum & Dance troupe PHOENIX RISING. I moved into Afro-cuban and some Latin styles. Later I played with the Rock Band BENT, where I got experience in Southern Rock, Blues, Jazz , and Reggae. I have also played with the band Spiral, and the Reggae Band Planetary people. I am also the founder of the Rock Band Outlaw Drummer Band. I worked with Michael clark of Drumatic Innovation for two years doing percussion work shops in schools (K-12) and in senior centers. In 2009 & 2010, I was honored to teach at the Seattle world Rhythm Festival with Drumatic Innovation. Music Therapy I have an Associates of Arts Degree from South Pudget Sound Community College and I am currently studying at Evergreen State College for my BA in Music Therapy.
